We believe wellbeing can be a catalyst for change
Our technology and services play a crucial role in thousands of lives, providing mental health support and enhancing workplace wellbeing. But we believe the impact can go further. At Leafyard, it's our responsibility to make a positive difference to our colleagues, customers, and the communities we operate in, across four key areas of influence:
Wellbeing | Diversity | Community | Environment

Wellbeing
Empowering people and enhancing mental health for all
As a provider of workplace mental health solutions, our platform and services touch thousands of lives. Here's how we're using this interaction as an opportunity to deliver on our goal of better wellbeing for all:
- Providing data-driven insights that empower organisations to understand and improve their employees' mental health.
- Increasing the availability of digital resources, tools, and education to promote awareness about all aspects of wellbeing: from mental to physical, from financial to emotional.
- Offering 24/7 accessible support through innovative digital solutions that help employees proactively manage life's challenges.
- Collaborating across our industry to build knowledge, confidence, and thought leadership for better workplace mental health practices.

Diversity
Championing diversity of thought and experiences
We're committed to helping organisations improve diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), so all employees feel seen, respected, and motivated at work. Through our customers, we serve thousands of people across various industries.
Leafyard is designed with DEI up front. Everything from the imagery we use, our support channels to the content we create is designed to be inclusive and representative, addressing the unique mental health challenges faced by diverse populations.
Community
Strengthening the communities we're part of
The communities in which we live, work, and interact with one another are the foundations on which our impact grows. Here's what we're doing to protect and strengthen our environment, workspaces, and communities:
- Supporting mental health awareness initiatives in local communities through education and outreach.
- Empowering our team to volunteer their time and expertise to community organisations.
- Partnering with mental health charities and organisations to extend our impact beyond our direct customers.
Environment
Doing more than minimising our impact
Protecting the environment goes beyond minimising our impact. It also means taking proactive steps to protect and restore biodiversity. Here's how we're protecting the environment for future generations:
- Cutting our carbon footprint with better ways of working, reducing waste, and sustainable procurement.
- Encouraging more sustainable behaviours through our digital-first approach that reduces the need for travel and physical resources.
- Promoting mental wellbeing practices that help employees make more conscious, sustainable choices in their daily lives.
- Proactively protecting and restoring biodiversity through our property strategy and employee volunteering initiatives.
Digital Wellbeing, Physical Benefits
As a primarily digital service, Leafyard has a natural advantage in minimising environmental impact. Our platform delivers wellbeing support without the carbon footprint of traditional in-person EAP services:
- Reducing travel as much as we can and prioritising digital delivery.
- Minimising paper usage through digital resources and documentation.
- Lowering office space requirements and associated energy usage.
- Supporting remote and flexible working arrangements that reduce commuting impact.
Supporting communities through Digital Wellbeing for All
Making wellbeing accessible to everyone
Through our Digital Wellbeing for All initiative, we're committed to making mental health support accessible to underserved communities. For every 10 employer subscriptions to Leafyard, we donate one full subscription to a charitable organisation.
Over the next three years, we aim to provide free access to 10,000 individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, empowering them with the same digital mental health tools we offer to corporate clients. This is just one of many places where we can make more impact and deliver on our responsibility to improve mental health together.

Our long-term commitment to Net Zero
We are committed to tackling climate change and reducing our carbon emissions. By 2027 we will be operationally net carbon zero, and by 2040 we will be net zero across all scopes, both targets are science-aligned, and in-line with a 1.5°C pathway to avoid the worst effects of climate change.
We have submitted our near and long-term targets, and plans to achieve them, to be externally validated by the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
Getting ahead of nationwide objectives
Rapid transformation is taking place across our whole business; from optimising digital operations and energy usage, to improving recycling systems, better waste management and promoting sustainable workplace practices.
Our commitment extends beyond our own operations. We're helping our customers measure and understand the carbon benefits of digital-first mental health solutions compared to traditional EAP services.
By choosing Leafyard, organisations are not only supporting their employees' wellbeing but also contributing to a more sustainable future.
